Kelowna band Freeze the Fall’s (FTF) debut tour of Western Canada spans 11 stops from Saskatoon to Victoria.

The band’s first tour is co-headlined with Vancouver-Island based band Cold Fame and tickets go on sale Monday, February 9 at 10 a.m.

Formed in 2022, the group’s first single was released in January 2024, titled Glitch. Almost 15 days later, FTF signed with Canada’s largest independent record label, 604 Records.

The band consists of Quinn Mitzel, Aria Becker, and Jonah Goncalves, who became friends in middle school over the shared love of music and “dream of creating something bigger together.”

Since then, one of them has graduated with the other two set to graduate this June. They are determined to keep going and are committed to balancing school, touring, and recording.

Their two EPs, Thrones and The Red Garden, are both available on all major streaming platforms.

“The projects showcase the band’s signature blend of melodic intensity, heavy riffs, and emotionally charged songwriting, a sound that is resonating far beyond their hometown. That momentum has carried FTF onto some of Canada’s largest music festival stages, as well as opening slots for legendary acts including Nazareth and Econoline Crush,” reads the release.

They have amassed a rapidly growing fanbase with more than 800 music reaction videos on YouTube. The group’s music has also been reviewed by more than 30 international rock and metal publications.

With their first tour, they plan to bring that music directly to fans and celebrate how far they have come. A full-length album is also in the works, to be released later this year. They also plan on expanding touring to South America and Europe.

“From middle school friendships to national stages, FTF’s first tour marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter, one rooted at home, but aimed at the world.”
