Car runs down tree on McCurdy Road in Kelowna

The vehicle will have to be towed from the scene

Update June 23

The driver of a vehicle involved in a car crash in Rutland on June 20 has reached out to Capital News to say she's OK.

Britt Augustson said there was a second vehicle involved and a minor collision between the two sent her onto the grass at McCurdy and Rutland roads around 4 p.m.

Augustson said the other vehicle was drivable, but hers was not after running over a small tree and popping a tire.

No injuries were reported.

In better news, the driver said the tree was still standing a day after the crash.
