A wildfire that sparked near Kelowna’s Joe Rich area is currently being held.

The fire was discovered on Saturday, May 11 around 4 p.m. Located near Joe Rich Creek, off of Highway 33 in Kelowna, it was 0.5 hectares in size according to BC Wildfire Service.

The wildfire was human-caused and was reported as being held on Sunday morning.
