New building ready to tower above Kelowna’s St. Paul Street

Development permit for 40-storey building submitted to city

A development permit for a 40-storey tower at 1355 St. Paul Street has been submitted to city hall.

The mixed-use building, being built by the Mission Group, features bachelor and one, two, and three-bedroom condos totaling 462 units, as well as 837 square metres of commercial space.

It is being built just down the street from Mission Group’s Bernard Block Office at 1499 St. Paul St., and near the UBC Okanagan Downtown Campus tower, being built by a different developer, at 550 Doyle Avenue.

The construction of that building has caused damage to surrounding businesses.
