2 arrested in connection with Kelowna teen’s homicide

Arrests have been made in the homicide of 15-year-old Tristan Seeger.

The teenager died from injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle in Rutland on Oct. 21.

Kelowna RCMP report that two individuals were arrested. They have since been released from custody as the investigation continues.

“Investigators with our Serious Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Section are still collecting and processing vital pieces of evidence,” Cpl. Michael Gauthier with the Media Relations Unit. “This is a sensitive homicide investigation. These investigations are lengthy and it is imperative they are done thoroughly.”

Police are thanking the victim’s family and several witnesses for cooperating with their investigation.

Details of the investigation are not being made public at this time to protect its integrity.

Anyone with information or video evidence is asked to call Kelowna RCMP or report anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
