Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops is holding a memorial for one of their own.

Men’s volleyball player Owyn McInnis was killed in a car crash in Kamloops on Nov. 29. His two teammates, Riley Brinnen and Owen Waterhouse of Kelowna suffered life-changing injuries in the crash.

McInnis’s family held a memorial service for him in his hometown of Guelph, ON back on Dec. 9.
